What the attendance module does
A camera at the front of the room checks faces against the enrolled cohort at the start of each session. Each student is marked present, absent, or late, with a timestamp. Faculty can review and correct the log before it locks for the day.
Where AI does the work
Face recognition runs on-device against your enrolled student photos, so there is no manual entry and no separate biometric device to maintain. The same data feeds directly into attendance-shortage alerts and HoD reports, without anyone exporting a spreadsheet.

Yes. The camera setup is configured per room, so a 40-seat lab and a 200-seat lecture hall both mark attendance from the same session flow.
Unrecognised faces are flagged for manual review. Faculty can mark that student present from the class list without holding up the rest of the session.
